Who we are
Kings Polytechnic, Ubiaja is a licensed private polytechnic located in Ubiaja, Edo State, Nigeria.Licensed to operate as a private polytechnic in Nigeria. Approval No. FME/NBTE/PP/10/01, dated 29 January 2010.
The institution offers National Diploma, Pre-HND and Higher National Diploma programmes across the School of Business and Management Studies, the School of Engineering, Information Technology and Applied Sciences, and the School of Environmental Studies. Academic delivery combines structured campus-based training with flexible learning support for students who need it.

Professor Sylvanus Ozem Oboh

Professor Sylvanus Ozem Oboh has served as Rector of Kings Polytechnic, Ubiaja since January 2016. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Biochemistry and Animal Nutrition from the University of Ibadan, awarded in 1981, 1983 and 1987 respectively. He provides academic leadership for the institution, drawing on a long-standing background in agricultural biochemistry and animal nutrition.

Dr. Oluwafemi Ganzallo

Dr. Oluwafemi Ganzallo has served in Registry leadership at Kings Polytechnic, Ubiaja since January 2016. He holds academic qualifications in Political Science from Lagos State University and Obafemi Awolowo University, together with a Ph.D. As Registrar, he oversees institutional administration at the Polytechnic, with experience spanning education technology and systems development in support of the institution’s academic and administrative operations.

Elder Fred Ijewere

Elder Fred Ijewere is the Proprietor and Chairman of the Academic Board of Kings Polytechnic, Ubiaja. He is a chartered accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. His professional background includes work as an SAP Human Resources consultant and experience in private practice and corporate directorship, spanning business risk consultancy, finance, oil and gas, manufacturing and industrial mineral processing — a governance and business background he brings to institutional oversight at Kings Polytechnic.
